Let’s Make A Movie – Christmas Vacation Movie Camp
Come and learn how to make a short movie!
The students will make a film using all techniques, including screenwriting, character building, blocking, set design, costume design, filming, directing, and acting. After the shooting, we will edit and add music, sound effects, CGI, and credits. Then, we will create trailers and promotional items. All members of the class will get a chance to do every job. The movie will be placed on a private Vimeo link for you to see and share. The movie will also be entered into the Central Coast Filmmaker’s Children’s division of the SLO Film Festival.
This will be my sixth movie camp; all previous movies have been accepted into a film festival. I am a licensed childcare provider and have made movies with children before as the director of the Central Coast Writers Conference at Morro Bay High Summer Experience.
The camp will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from January 2, 2024, until January 6, 2024.
